Welcome to a walking tour of culinary delights


The distinguished producers of high-quality food and wine in the volcanic rock region of lower Styria cordially invite you to wine and food tasting – to guided tours and performances.

This hiking tour starts at the monumental castle of Riegersburg and leads to Zotter’s chocolate theatre (“Zotter Loop”, about 12 km), on to Gölles – a manufacturer of fine spirits and sublime vinegars (“Gölles Loop”, about 10km), to the Riegersburg Weinduftikum, past the vineyards of Hofberg and Starzenberg – producers of exquisite wines and different themed gardens, such as the herb and bees garden.



Vines and fruits grow in abundance around Riegersburg. The soil, rich on minerals, is fertile and contributes to the great flavour of the produce grown here. Try the produce on our Riegersburg Gourmet Walk.

Starting at the centre of Riegersburg, you are free to choose between the east and west loop. The whole area around Riegersburg can be explored on foot. It is a gourmet walk like no other – with many surprises and beautiful scenery. It is enjoyable for young and old.
